Blue Mountain Music challenge :

Inspiration.

Blue Mountain Music is pleased and honoured to have the privilege of setting forth the next challenge for the talented musicians of COSOCO. We feel strongly that the goals of COSOCO and BMM are very much aligned: to celebrate and inspire local music.

For every great musician, there will be another musician (or song, or album) they will reference that inspired them to start playing. Or to keep playing. Or to start playing again.

The gift of inspiration is a rare moment of magic that can change the course of your life completely. We would love to have the members of COSOCO use this challenge to honour one of these moments from their own lives with an original composition.

The parameters of the challenge are as follows:

The song should
1- be an original piece of work
2- pay tribute in some way to a musician/song/album that positively inspired you
3- not directly mention, name or make known the inspiration for your track! ie. "Hurple Paze" etc.

Once the tracks drop, it will be great fun to listen through and try to identify each COSOCO member’s Inspiration. Double challenge!
